Our team comes to your loved one's home — anywhere in the Perth metro area. Recording in a familiar space almost always produces a better, more relaxed result than any studio setting could. There is no travel surcharge for anywhere within the Perth metro.

Most sessions run approximately one hour, including a short setup and a break or two if needed. Our team never rushes. If your loved one wants to tell a long story, our team lets them. If they tire easily, our team works around that. The goal is a good recording, not a fast one.

This is the most common concern families have — and the one that comes up least during the actual session. Our team prepares thoughtful, specific questions tailored to your loved one's life. The questions aren't abstract ("tell me about your childhood") but concrete and inviting ("what was the house you grew up in like?"). Most people who describe themselves as private or quiet are surprised by how much they have to say once someone asks the right things.

Yes — family members are welcome to sit in. Some people find it easier to talk one-on-one; others are more comfortable with a familiar face nearby. Our team will follow your lead and do whatever produces the best recording for your family.

Audio recordings are delivered as high-quality MP3 files. Video recordings are delivered as MP4. Both formats are widely compatible — they'll play on phones, computers, and televisions — and are suitable for long-term digital archiving. Files are delivered via a private, secure download link. Legacy Collection clients also receive a printed transcript.

Our team works with people at all stages of life, including those living with dementia, serious illness, or other health challenges. Our team can work in shorter sessions, make multiple visits, and adjust the approach to suit whatever is needed. Please mention any health considerations during the discovery call and our team will plan accordingly.

Our team aims to deliver finished files within two to three weeks of the recording session. If you have a particular deadline — a birthday, a reunion, a family event — let us know and our team will do our best to accommodate it.

Completely. Recordings are delivered only to you via a private, secure link. They are never shared, published, broadcast, or used in any way without your explicit written permission. Your loved one's story belongs to your family.
